Player Care in New Zealand Rugby

May 14 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am UTC+0

Player Care in Rugby

From LAPS: Life After Professional Sport

We can now confirm our next webinar, aimed at staff working in athlete support in elite sport. The All Blacks are probably the most successful sports team of all time. But they are known for the culture off the pitch as much as their ruthless performances on the pitch. Want to look behind the scenes to understand where that culture comes from, and how it is sustained?

How New Zealand Rugby have built a ‘winning culture’ at all level, from clubs and schools through to international rugby
Managing any conflict in performance versus education
The Personal Development Programme set-up to support players outside of, and after, sport
We will be joined by:

Nathan Price: Culture and Wellbeing Manager at New Zealand Rugby. He works the whole way down the rugby pyramid.

Mark Ranby: former All Black and now National Practice Manager at the New Zealand Rugby Players’ Association. Mark supports Personal Development Managers working in the sport with aspiring, current professional, overseas and retired athletes.

Join us at 9am on Tuesday 14 May. To register and receive your calendar invitation, contact Ronnie Wells: ronnie.wells@laps.careers
