DESCRIPTION:The 2nd International Conference on Injury and Illness Prevention in Sport aims to bring together researchers\, clinicians\, practitioners and students to explore contemporary challenges in sport and exercise medicine. \nThe conference will be hosted by the UK Collaborating Centre on Injury and Illness Prevention in Sport (UKCCIIS) — an IOC Research Centre of Excellence — and will offer you the opportunity to: \n\nhear about the latest developments in the field\ninteract with world-leading experts\ndiscuss translation from research to practice\n\nProgramme and keynote speakers\nThe conference will explore a number of key themes\, including: \n\nProactive and positive management of growth and maturation\nAdvancing mental health in sport\nFemale athlete health\nRespiratory medicine\nData-driven innovation in sport\nWinter sports\n\nThere will also be events for early-career professionals. These will include a social activity on the evening of 16 June\, and a networking breakfast on the morning of 18 June\, which will provide the opportunity to network with leading experts in academic\, industry and clinical practice.
