Job Description

Felician University is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, highly organized, student-focused and experienced sports training professional to serve as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning program for all Felician University intercollegiate athletic teams.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred


2+ years’ experience related experience, working with collegiate student-athletes in the area of weight training and fitness; National Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association certification; comprehensive knowledge of and ability to teach the skills in analysis and techniques of weightlifting; strong written and verbal communication skills; superior organizational skills, with focused attentiveness to detail; excellent physical conditions, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; ability and willingness to work flex schedules including evenings and weekends; demonstrated ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and experience levels; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the University.
