Sports and Exercise Scientists
For sport and exercise scientists you will need to have one of the following:
- BSc (hons) Sport and Exercise Science
- MSc Sport and Exercise Science
- CASES Sport and Exercise Scientist Accreditation
- CSci Chartered Sport and Exercise Scientist (CASES)
- CASES High Performance Sport Accreditation (HPSA)
Strength and Conditioning Coaches
To be listed as a strength and conditioning coach on athlete now you must have one of the following:
- BSc (hons) Strength and Conditioning
- MSc Strength and Conditioning
Route 2 (Professional Accreditation)
- United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Accreditation (UKSCA) as an accredited strength and conditioning coach (ASCC).
- National Association of Strength and Conditioning (NSCA) accreditation as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).
- Accredited strength and conditioning coach with the International Universities Strength and Conditioning Association (IUSCA) accreditation.
Route 3 (Experienced Practitioner Pathway)
- IUSCA IQF Level 4 Certified Strength and Conditioning Practitioner®
- PLUS one of:
- Relevant sport, exercise science or related degree.
- Minimum two years’ documented athlete facing S&C practice.
- Formal recommendation from an ASCC, CSCS or IUSCA Accredited Coach who has mentored, supervised you or worked with you in an athlete facing capacity.
We do not accept those who want to register as a strength and conditioning coach with less than a BSc (hons) or accreditation in the area (inc. Level 3 and 4 awards).
Physiotherapists
To be listed as a physiotherapist you must be registered as a physiotherapist on one or both of the following
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register
- The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) register
Psychologists
To be listed as a psychologist on this platform you must have one of the following:
- Psychologist practitioner on the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register through either:
- Accredited through the Sport and Exercise Psychologist Accreditation Route (SEPAR) of BASES
- The British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation
- In training for one of the above (an in training badge will be clearly marked on your profile to inform others transparently).
Dieticians
To be listed as a dietician you must be registered as a dietician with the following:
- British Dietetics Assocation and registered on the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register.
Nutritionists
To be listed as a nutritionist on our platform you must to have one of folllowing:
- BSc (hons) in Nutrition
- MSc (hons) in Nutrition
- Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist (SENr) with British Dietetic Association (BDA)
- Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) or Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with the Association for Nutrition (AfN)
We do not accept any vocational qualifications in nutrition below relevant nutrition degrees for this category on our register.
Sports Therapists
To be listed as a sports therapist on this platform you must have one of the following:
- BSc (hons) Sports Therapy
- MSc Sports Therapy
- SST Accreditation
We do not accept any sports therapy certificates or awards below a full BSc (hons). However you may be eligible to register as a sports massage therapist if you meet the requirements below.
Sports Rehabilitators
To be listed as a sports rehabilitator on this platform you must have one of the following:
- BSc (hons) in Sports Rehabilitation
- MSc Sports Rehabilitation
- BASrAT Accreditation
Sports Coaches
To be listed as a sports coach you must have a full coaching qualification in the sport you are coaching. Full coaching certificates will vary from sport to sport but are typically Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications. Please note these will need to be in line with the relevant national governing body.
If you have an assistant coaching or level 1 coaching qualification, we will accept these but your profile will be noted transparently as an assistant coach.
Sports Performance Analysts
To be listed under the sports performance analyst you must have one of the following
- BSc (hons) in sports performance analysis or higher
- ISPAS Level 2 accreditation
Athlete Performance Lifestyle Advisors
To be listed under the performance lifestyle advisor you need to have one of the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Talented Athlete Lifestyle Support
- Level 3 Athlete Personal Development and Lifestyles
- Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM)
Sports Massage Therapists
- Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy
- Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy
- Level 5 Sports Massage Therapy
As a sports massage therapist, you must not call yourself a sports therapist on our platform without the above accepted conditions of sports therapy. You must clearly advertise yourself as a sports massage therapist. Please note we do not allow advertising of cupping and similar services on this platform.
Osteopaths
To be listed under Osteopath you must be registered with the following:
- The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) – Regulator for the United Kingdom.
Podiatrists
To be listed under Podiatrist you must be registered with the following:
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register
Mental Health Professional
Psychotherapist or Counsellor must be registered with the following to sign up to platform:
- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
- UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
Personal Development Coaches
- Institute of Leadership and Management Executive Coaching
- Transformative Coaching Qualification – Must be accredited by International coaching federation (ICF)
