Grow Physio Academy is a Physiotherapy professional development platform founded by Steve Miller. Steve is a Sports Physiotherapist who loves working with Athletes & Sports Injuries whilst supporting others who want to learn & step into the limelight. Steve currently works across various elite sports settings & remains passionate about sharing this unique skillset and experiences.

Steve represented Newcastle Falcons Rugby Union 1st Team managing players in their Premiership Squad 2014-2020. He currently works in a rehabilitation specialist role for British Judo, British Gymnastics & Lawn Tennis Association.

Steve lectures at various Higher Level Educational Institutions including Newcastle, Sheffield Hallam and Gloucester Universities. Teaching programmes include Physiotherapy (BSc), Sports Physiotherapy (MSc), Sports Therapy (BSc) & Sport & Exercise Medicine. He runs Nationwide & International Sports Injury Courses and regular invites to speak at conferences.

How Grow Physio Started

Steve launched Grow Physio during the COVID-19 pandemic to offer an accessible e-learning platform that offered support and guidance at a time of limited practical physiotherapy training. Grow Physio Academy has enabled thousands of students and advanced practitioners worldwide to access the often ‘closed doors’ world of professional sports physiotherapy.

Steve recognised there is a real challenge to deliver clinical placements in elite sport and has fulfilled his commitment to share elite sport exposure throughout this e-learning platform.
